Shafik Hebous (Ph.D. in Economics; Goethe University Frankfurt) is deputy division chief in the IMF's Fiscal Affairs Department. Shafik leads and supervises capacity development work in tax policy. His main area of research is public finance, covering topics such as the implications of emerging technologies on taxation and the taxation of multinational companies.
